• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, providing support and training as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and financial planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in seeds industry-specific knowledge, e.g., manufacturing,
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
