Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cashier to join our team at Senco Gold and Diamonds, located in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. This full-time position requires a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3 years of experience in cash management and customer service within a retail setting. The role involves handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and managing inventory effectively, contributing significantly to our store's success and operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in customer service and cash handling (Mandatory skill), ensuring high-quality service to foster customer loyalty.
• Effective inventory management skills (Mandatory skill) to maintain accurate stock levels and reduce discrepancies.
• Strong proficiency in operating Point of Sale Systems to process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Excellent math skills for calculating transactions, discounts, and ensuring proper change is given to customers.
• Basic accounting skills to assist with daily financial operations and end-of-day reporting.
• Skilled in operating scanners and cash registers to facilitate swift and efficient checkouts.
• Competent in payment processing to handle various payment methods, ensuring secure and smooth transactions.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure, managing multiple tasks and high customer traffic during peak hours.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle all cash transactions with accuracy, maintaining a balanced cash register at all times.
