Payroll Associate
• Basic payroll knowledge of APAC, and EMEA countries.
• Demonstrated ability to understand internal controls with a strong focus on attention to detail.
• Experience managing a third-party payroll vendor.
• Experience in dealing with key stakeholders (HR, IT, Finance)
• Significant progressively responsible experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment
• A sense of urgency in solving inquiries and requests to ensure timely resolution and an ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving with confidence to make decisions and manage escalations
• Must be highly engaging, confident communicator, and detail orientated.
• Experience in ADP SPM, ADP workforce, and Ceridian Dayforce
• B. Com / M.Com with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player and ability to work with a strict timelines.
• Flexible to work in US shifts.
• Good in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to take ownership of the work.
• Ability to manage the stakeholders independently.
JOB DESCRIPTION
•Oversee the payroll operations in EMEA & APAC payroll operation. Knowledge of North American payroll will be added advantage.
•Provide direct support and governance to third-party payroll vendors. Implement, natural, and maintain procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll outside the U.S., in conjunction with HR.
•Work with Legal, Finance, Accounting, a,nd HR to ensure payroll compliance in all regions. Be the point of contact for day-to-day international payroll operations. Ensure service delivery is accurate, timely, and aligned with service level agreements.
•Manage the ongoing relationship with the payroll vendor across the regions, coordinating with HR, Finance, Accounting, and local teams where needed. Track and report on the global payroll vendor's performance (i.e., open tickets, SLAs, etc.). Work with the vendor to effectively address employee inquiries.
•Complete verification of trial run payroll output from the vendor, including checking other EMEA payrolls, reconciling the final results, and reviewing with the payroll backup
•Participate in ensuring a complete set of the payroll process and procedure documents are produced and kept up to date.
