Job Description

Experience: 2 to 5 Yrs

Job Location: Bangalore (Work from the office)

Notice Period: Immediate to max 15 days

Shifts: General Shift or US Shift depending on the project need

Skills: Python programming and SQL (oracle, ms SQL,postgress, others)

Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other specialization with relevant experience.
• Experience in developing SQL code in MS SQL/Oracle/others... 
• Experience in Python scripting language
• Experience in integration tools like SSIS/ODI/others
• Experience working with APIs is a must
• Experience designing complex ETLs extracting data through RDBMS, Flat files, XML files, JSON sources
• Should be able to analyze poorly performing queries/ETL mappings and provide suggestions to tune them.
• Experience with AWS EMR, AWS EC2, AWS IAM & S3, AWS CloudFormation, DB2, Oracle, and Hive.
• Knowledge of data warehouse architectures and a basic understanding of data modeling
• Able to work on own initiative and as a team player
• A strong belief in automated testing, and experience with version control
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to develop ETL pipelines in and out of the data warehouse 
• Ability to develop scripts using python to do Extract, Load, ,and Transform data
• Ability to set up monitoring and provide production support for Data Warehouse issues such as data load problems, transformation/translation problems, ,,etc.
• Ability to understand data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done
• Ability to understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data ppipelines using cloud-based and on-premises technologies
• Communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences
• Support continuous improvement
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
