Position: OT Technician for IVF

Location: Gurgaon, Delhi, Agra, Ranchi

Qualification: OT Tech Diploma/Graduation

Experience: 1 to 5 Years in IVF

Clinical Work

▪ Provide indirect patient care in emergency care situations.

▪ Prepare the Operation Theatre before all operative procedures.

▪ Prepare the patient, as per Pre-Procedure Check List, & senior staff instructions.

▪ Ensure all necessary supplies are available, surgical instruments are sterile before the procedure.

▪ Support as a Surgical/Anaesthesia assistant during Operative Procedure.

▪ Ensure appropriate surgical position; scrubbing, painting & draping as & when required.

▪ Shifting patient in the recovery ward.

▪ Work efficiently with an autoclave

▪ Collect & carefully label & transport tissue/blood samples to lab for testing.

Documentation & Reporting

▪ Ensure accurate & relevant patient medical history is available before the procedure.

▪ Procure necessary documents/consents/payments from the patient, before the procedure.

Communication & Co-operation

▪ Counsel patients & their families; explain procedures planned for them.

▪ Address patient & staff issues by using multidisciplinary team strategies.

▪ Ensure timely execution of procedures, informing senior & support staff about all Posted, Elective/Emergency procedures.

▪ Monitor patients in intra-operative period/recovery ward; immediately contact senior staff in case of emergency.

Quality Management & Continuous improvement

▪ Ensure all procedures are carried out as per the SOP, and are compliant with the Policies on Universal Protection, Biomedical Hazard & Infection Control.

▪ Ensure a clean and safe environment always.

▪ Provide for and respect patients' privacy and confidentiality at all times.

▪ Adherence to hospital standards; ensuring quality health care outcomes against patient care goals & regulations.
