HR Manager Job Description


Key Responsibilities and Qualifications


Position Overview

The HR Manager at SeaFlite will be responsible for overseeing all human resource functions within the company. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager will play a critical role in shaping the company's culture and ensuring that SeaFlite remains a great place to work.


Key Responsibilities


  • Recruitment and Staffing: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Manage the hiring process from job posting to onboarding. Identifying manpower requirements through proper planning & analysis and in accordance with the preset manpower budget. Screening employees, conducting interviews for selection of best candidates and follow up with the candidates to ensure that the candidates once confirmed, join the organization. Documentation of joining forms, Send intimation about the joiners to the concerned departments, processing of PF nomination, issue of company ID and access cards and coordinating with the corporate bank for opening of corporate salary accounts for the new employees. Organizing Induction Programme for new joiners.

  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution. Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely manner.

  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees. Develop strategies to improve employee performance and productivity.

  • Training and Development: Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust as needed.

  • Compensation and Benefits: Administer employee compensation and benefits programs. Conduct regular reviews to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices. Maintain Time Office & Payroll on SAP Software which includes leave records, leave audits and maintaining of muster-roll, e.g. the Miss-Punches, Leaves, Short Leaves, C-offs and Outdoor duty of all employees. Preparation wages and salaries sheet for staff and workers. Submission of Monthly return under different Labour Laws Like- PF Return ESIC Return etc, Leave Encashment record, Full and Final settlement. Make miscellaneous Daily reports such as Overtime, Late Coming, Absenteeism, Manpower Report, Accident reports.

  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and implement necessary changes. Statutory Compliance under Company act, PF act, ESI act, Bonus act, Gratuity act, Contract labour act, Maternity act. Prepare the checklist month wise of all compliance like challan, ECR, returns according to act. Prepare all the Register under labour law. All verify Contractor Bill, Documents and their Attendance and overtime. Maintain employee records & their personal files etc.

  • HR Policies: Develop and update HR policies and procedures. Communicate policies to employees and ensure adherence.


Qualifications


  • Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 year’s experience in HR management, preferably within the aviation industry.

  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of HR best practices.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with labor laws and regulations, proficiency in HR software and tools, PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity and other applicable statutory compliance.


Work Environment

The HR Manager will need to report for work at our corporate office in Gurugram Sector 48 and occasionally visit SeaFlite's various locations. This role may require occasional travel and participation in industry conferences and events.
