Position: Quality Assurance/Quality Control Executive – Packaging

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated QA/QC Executive with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining packaging quality standards for products in the personal care, cosmetics, or perfumery industry. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards and contribute actively to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Packaging Quality Management

• Define specifications for packaging materials based on development studies.
• Conduct quality checks and inspection of packaging materials like glass bottles, aluminum/tin cans, PET bottles, cartons, shippers, perfumery alcohol compounds, LPG, pumps, and valves.
• Monitor supplier/subcontractor quality, especially molding and cosmetic production vendors.

2. Process Control & Compliance

• Adhere to QMS and GMP standards (ISO, USFDA, EU, GSO).
• Monitor new product development trials and record final approved specifications.
• Review inspection schedules and disposition reports for packaging and finished goods as per MIL-STD-105-D.

3. Quality Improvement & Team Oversight

• Identify and resolve non-conformities through root cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, SOPs, technical documents, and master samples.
• Lead quality audits, internal training, and continual improvement projects.
• Oversee calibration and validation of testing instruments and tools.

4. Inspection & SOP Management

• Set and manage inspection schedules.
• Formulate and maintain SOPs for testing and process validations.
• Monitor test parameters, deviations, and initiate corrective actions.

Technical Expertise Required:

• Proficiency in using instruments like bond strength tester, opacity tester, dart impact tester, torque tester, tensile tester, box compression tester, etc.
• Strong understanding of packaging compliance requirements.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Background in Perfume, Cosmetics, or Personal Care industry (Pharma may be considered).
• Sound knowledge of packaging materials specific to the industry.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Male candidates preferred (due to operational requirements).
