Job Description

We are looking for Business Development Executive who is passionate about helping students find the best learning opportunities. 

They are responsible for developing new leads, communicating with students, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process.  They will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to ideate new strategies to increase sales. They will ultimately be responsible for providing the best education for our student customers!

Salary Expectations:

4 - 7 LPA CTC (Negotiable)


Job Location:

Bengaluru (Hybrid)


Working Hours: 

We're a startup! We have flexible working hours. 

(Minimum 50 / hours per week)


Job duties & responsibilities


 i) Identification & Planning:

  • Generating leads via cold calling, emailing, and other lead-generation activities
  • Identify new customer segments & markets to tap into based on seasonal trends
  • Plan out demographics and geographies to cover, along with the sales team, with specific targets
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to improve the product marketing strategy

 ii) Acquisition:

  • Convert qualified leads into customers through personalized communication
  • Manage and train the sales team in customer acquisition strategies
  • Thoroughly understand the product offering and advocate it by tailoring it to the student requirements
  • Understand the student requirements and convert opportunities into customers

  

iii) Administration: 

  • Managing pre-sales to post-sales support activities for the assigned  
  • Set revenue and customer count targets, objectives, and KPIs for the Sales Team
  • Ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached 
  • Bring market & consumer insights to influence products & offerings. 

iv) Partnerships: 

  • Become the POC for college admins and institutions who are our clients
  • Work with college admins to understand their needs and requirements 
  • Partner with College clubs to increase brand awareness through conducting programs, events, workshops, etc.



Requirements


Required Qualifications

  • Background: 2+ years of experience in Customer Acquisition, Sales, and similar Fields.
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or related field
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Hands-on experience in customer conversions
  • Has worked on strategies to increase outcomes 
  • Knowledge of conversion techniques using Social media, SEO, website, etc. 
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
