Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Safety Senior to ensure the safe and appropriate use of radiation-producing equipment in our medical imaging facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of radiation safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and best practices in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing radiation safety programs, conducting regular inspections, and providing training and education to staff. Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Health Physics, Radiation Safety, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in radiation safety, preferably in a medical imaging or healthcare setting
• In-depth knowledge of radiation safety regulations and standards
• Certification in Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Level-3 or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in using radiation detection and monitoring equipment
• Familiarity with radiation safety software and tools

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement radiation safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards
• Ensure safe and appropriate use of radiation-producing equipment
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with radiation safety protocols
• Provide training and education to staff on radiation safety practices
• Develop and deliver radiation safety training programs
• Monitor radiation levels and investigate any deviations or incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address radiation safety concerns
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in radiation safety
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to radiation safety
