JOB DESCRIPTION

• Title : Plant Manager / Operations Manager
• Qualification : BE or Diploma ECE/EEE/EIE
• Experience : 12 – 20 years
• CTC : 5.00 – 7.5 LPA
• Reporting To : Managing Director
• Location : Coimbatore

The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant from work order to successful dispatch and managing of manufacturing activities to bring the optimum process efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate sourcing efforts throughout the company’s supply chain, including identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, developing a long-term sourcing strategy, and identifying new and emerging markets.
• Generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies
• Analyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
• Evaluating sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to senior management for approval.
• Driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends.
• Collaborating with the purchase department to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities.
• Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts.
• Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships.
• Conduct supplier auditing and develop their capacity to meet our requirement.
• Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques.
• Assist in supplier selection and negotiations.
• Maintain vendor database (including contact information, organizational history, and performance metrics).
• Be the liaison between the purchasing department and vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a sourcing managerial role.
• Willingness to travel to develop, promote and maintain strategic sourcing relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
