Role & responsibilities

Position: Senior Program Manager

• Heading responsibility to monitor and manage Trade marketing investments as well as initiate execution of activities.
• Preparing trade execution plans as per the guidelines of the client, with the main customers, coordination amongst team members for prompt executions of targets and KPIs.
• Develop, supervise and improve procedures to link the entire marketing activities with team work.
• Ensuring everything runs smoothly and the team follows program goals while maintaining a high level of detail about the project they oversee throughout the workdays.
• Developing, defining and executing trade marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, brand loyalty and market penetration across channels.

• Retailers
• Increase the throughput of the retailer
• Mechanics
• Increase mechanic base and drive engagement . Create brand PULL.
• IWS & Garages
• Execute push strategies in the distribution network
• Channel Relationships
• Build good trade relationship & engagement in the channel thus creating brand loyalty
• Branding and Merchandising
• Create visibility through merchandising & a structured POSM deployment plan
• Customers
• Promoting schemes, offers & loyalty programs to the customer base

Preferred candidate profile

We need a Sri Lankan Program Manager who is experienced in the Oil and Gas industry -

Major selection criteria:

1. 12-15 Yrs of Exp in Field sales

2. Excellent local geographic knowledge & business know how.

3. Lubricant experience will be an Advantage, can consider automotive/industrial spares parts, FMCG, paints, etc

4. Should understand Distributor network & carry healthy relationship with such Distributor from the trade.

5. Good at Analytics

6. Language- Tamil or Sinhala

professional with experience in driving growth, generating revenues, steering channel & retail sales as well as capturing market share and enhancing the value in domestic markets of Lubricant industry with prior expertise in Petroleum Retail, Automobile, Logistics and Tyre industry and has experience inmanaging the GENERAL Trade business
