Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup and Operation:
• Calibrating and adjusting slitting machines according to production specifications. 
• Material Handling:
• Loading and unloading materials, threading them through the machine, and ensuring proper alignment. 
• Quality Control:
• Inspecting the finished product for defects, ensuring it meets quality standards, and documenting production metrics. 
• Troubleshooting:
• Identifying and resolving issues with the machine or material during the slitting process. 
• Maintenance:
• Performing routine maintenance on the slitting equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance. 
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Understanding how slitting machines work, including setting up and adjusting blades and other components. 
• Precision and Attention to Detail:
• Ensuring accurate cuts and measurements, as well as identifying any defects or inconsistencies.

• Performing repetitive tasks, handling materials, and potentially working in loud and potentially hot environments.
