Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Counselor for our Ahmedabad location. This is a mid-level, full-time position where the individual will engage with patients, offering support and personalized care as part of our team at Sakhiya Skin Clinic Limited. Qualifications and Skills

• Strong communication skills (Mandatory skill) for effectively engaging with patients and documenting interactions.
• Proficient in active listening, essential for understanding patient concerns and building trust.
• Demonstrated empathy, crucial for supporting patients through their treatment journey.
• Knowledge in cognitive behavioral therapy to help patients develop coping strategies.
• Experience with crisis intervention to manage and de-escalate emotional distress situations.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation of patient interactions.
• Understanding of motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavior change.
• Experience in trauma-informed care, recognizing and acknowledging the effects of trauma in treatment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide personalized support to patients, ensuring their emotional and psychological needs are met.
• Coordinate with medical staff to integrate patient counseling with medical treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions using EHR systems.
• Conduct assessments to identify patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
