Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Kafka Administrator to join our team at Saaswika Solutions Private Limited. As a Kafka Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Apache Kafka clusters and related systems.

Client: Capgemini

Location: Any Capgemini offices in India - Onsite

Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong knowledge of the Apache Kafka Data Manager and service brokers, sizing in the Kubernetes platform
• Design, develop, and manage Apache Kafka-based data pipelines and solutions within Oracle Cloud native environments
• Monitor and optimize, customize Kafka clusters in Oracle communications
• Troubleshoot Kafka-related issues subscribers, topics, queues and notifications. Etc
• Handle customer queries and support Apache Kafka streaming services
• Good understanding of distributed systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable Kafka clusters.
• Monitor Kafka performance and ensure proper configuration and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Kafka-related issues and incidents in a timely manner.
• Manage Kafka topics, partitions, and replication to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Kafka-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks.
• Perform capacity planning and optimize Kafka infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
• Provide guidance and support to junior administrators and team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Kafka trends, technologies, and best practices.
