Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Database Tester for our Mohadi location. This is a flexible position offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience with database testing and a strong proficiency in Python (Mandatory skill). As part of our team, you will contribute to ensuring the quality and integrity of database systems through rigorous testing processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Python is mandatory for developing and executing test scripts and automating testing processes.
• Solid understanding of SQL for creating, modifying, and managing complex database queries and scripts.
• Experience with Oracle databases, focusing on testing data integrity and functionality.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL for testing and verifying database configurations and schemas.
• Understanding of ETL processes to validate data transformation and loading activities.
• Ability to utilize Data Quality Tools to ensure data accuracy and validity across databases.
• Proficient in T-SQL for conducting in-depth database testing in MS SQL Server environments.
• Hands-on experience using JIRA for tracking and reporting defects and collaborating with development teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed database test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Collaborate with software developers and data architects to analyze database structures and configurations.
• Identify, report, and track defects or discrepancies in database systems and work with teams to resolve them.
• Ensure data integrity by conducting thorough testing on new and existing databases and data-driven applications.
• Perform automated testing and script maintenance using Python to streamline testing processes.
• Validate ETL processes to ensure accurate data transformation and loading across different data sources.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results, procedures, and database configurations for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest database testing tools and methodologies to continuously improve testing practices.
