Role: Senior Mentor Coach – World Scholar’s Cup

About the Role

We are building a high-performance WSC training program and are looking for a seasoned World Scholar’s Cup mentor who has already trained students for regional/global rounds.

This is a specialist role, not a general teaching position.

You will work with high-potential students and prepare them to excel at global platforms through structured mentorship, strategy, and intellectual depth.

Mandatory Requirement (Non-Negotiable)

Proven experience coaching students for World Scholar's Cup

Exposure to:

Regional Rounds

Global Rounds (preferred)

Clear understanding of all formats:

Team Debate

Collaborative Writing

Scholars Bowl

Scholars Challenge

Applications without WSC experience will not be considered.

What You’ll Do

Lead end-to-end WSC preparation programs

Design theme-based interdisciplinary modules aligned to WSC syllabus

Train students in:

Argument structuring & rebuttals

Persuasive writing under time pressure

Quiz strategies & pattern recognition

Conduct mock competitions, feedback loops, and performance tracking

Build confidence, articulation, and stage presence

Who You Are

3–8+ years of relevant experience in WSC coaching

Strong academic grounding across Humanities + Science

Exceptional in:

Public speaking

Debate coaching

Mentoring high-performing students

Structured yet highly engaging teaching style

Qualified for Globals / Tournament of Champions

Won medals / team rankings

Experience building or scaling a WSC program from scratch
