π Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate medical care to patients arriving in the emergency department (casualty)
- Perform initial assessment, triage, stabilization, and life-saving interventions
- Coordinate with specialty consultants for admission, surgery, or escalation of care
- Document patient history, clinical findings, and emergency treatments accurately
- Handle medico-legal cases (MLC) and assist in relevant documentation and procedures
- Respond to code blues, trauma alerts, poisoning cases, and accident victims
- Supervise nurses and junior doctors during night or shift duties
- Uphold infection control and emergency room protocols at all times
- Participate in emergency drills, CME programs, and skill-building workshops
