Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Pune. This is a full-time position that requires knowledge of desktop support and troubleshooting of both Windows OS and network issues. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless IT operations and support for our Gurugram office and other locations as needed. The perfect candidate should have expertise in various technical support tasks and be keen on learning and growing with our expanding company.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS issues (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with desktop support activities, providing excellent customer service (Mandatory skill).
• Capability to provide remote desktop support to users in various locations, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 support including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting applications.
• Knowledge of VPN configuration to secure network connections and maintain data integrity.
• Ability to perform hardware diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Proficiency in SCCM for software deployment, updates, and managing the IT infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and application problems.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks to ensure high availability.
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows operating systems to provide quality user experiences.
• Manage configurations and installations of computer-related equipment and software.
• Assist in network support tasks and administer various network applications.
• Collaborate with vendors for hardware setup and ensure continuous operation of IT services.
• Document problem resolutions in the knowledge base to improve future issue handling.
• Maintain and analyze performance data to monitor and improve system capabilities.
