We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Pricing Manager to lead our centralized pricing operations at our Mumbai headquarters. This role is crucial in optimizing our pricing strategies, increasing profitability, and preventing revenue leakage across our 12-14 branch offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies for all transportation services
• Manage and respond to pricing inquiries from all branch offices, ensuring consistency and profitability
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and internal data to inform pricing decisions
• Create and maintain pricing models and guidelines for various transportation modes
• Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors to optimize costs
• Oversee the preparation and submission of bids and RFQs
• Generate regular reports on pricing performance and market insights
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align pricing strategies with business goal
• Continuously improve pricing processes and systems to enhance efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in transportation pricing or related roles in freight forwarding
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and experience with pricing software
• In-depth knowledge of transportation industry trends and pricing structures
