The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of our .NET applications, APIs, and databases through robust testing methodologies.</p><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><h3><strong>.NET Application Testing</strong></h3><ul><li>Perform functional and regression testing of .NET applications/C# programming language to ensure software quality.</li><li>Candidate should need to expert in automation and Manual Testing</li><li>Validate UI and backend functionalities across different environments.</li><li>Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.</li></ul><h3><strong>API Testing</strong></h3><ul><li>Design, develop, and execute API test cases for RESTful and SOAP web services.</li><li>Use tools like <strong>Postman, SOAP UI, RestAssured, Swagger</strong>, or similar for API validation.</li><li>Perform contract testing, response validation, and error handling verification.</li></ul><h3><strong>Performance Testing</strong></h3><ul><li>Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing on .NET applications and APIs.</li><li>Utilize tools like <strong>JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, Gatling</strong>, or similar.</li><li>Identify performance bottlenecks and work with developers to optimize system performance.</li></ul><h3><strong>Database Testing</strong></h3><ul><li>Validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple databases.</li><li>Write and execute complex <strong>SQL queries</strong> to validate backend transactions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with data validation rules and stored procedures.</li></ul><h3><strong>Test Automation &amp; CI/CD</strong></h3><ul><li>Develop automated test scripts using <strong>Selenium, NUnit, xUnit, or SpecFlow</strong> for .NET applications.</li><li>Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using <strong>Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions</strong>.</li><li>Work closely with developers to incorporate test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices.</li></ul><h3><strong>Collaboration &amp; Documentation</strong></h3><ul><li>Work closely with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless application quality.</li><li>Document test plans, test cases, test execution reports, and defect reports.</li><li>Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing testing insights and feedback.</li></ul><h2><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong></h2><h3><strong>Technical Skills</strong></h3><p>✅ Strong experience in <strong>.NET application testing</strong> (UI, functional, and regression testing).</p><p>✅ Hands-on experience in <strong>API testing</strong> using tools like <strong>Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI</strong>.</p><p>✅ Proficiency in <strong>performance testing</strong> using <strong>JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6</strong>.</p><p>✅ Strong knowledge of <strong>SQL databases</strong> (MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience in <strong>database testing</strong>.</p><p>✅ Good understanding of <strong>test automation frameworks</strong> (Selenium, NUnit, xUnit, SpecFlow).</p><p>✅ Experience with CI/CD tools like <strong>Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions</strong>.</p><p>✅ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and <strong>test management tools</strong> (JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM).</p><h3><strong>Soft Skills</strong></h3><p>✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p><p>✅ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</p><p>✅ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</p><p>✅ Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality software.</p><h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2><p>🔹 Certification in Software Testing (ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent).</p><p>🔹 Experience in cloud-based testing (Azure, AWS).</p><p>🔹 Exposure to scripting languages like <strong>Python, PowerShell, or Bash</strong> for test automation.</p>
