Job Overview
We are seeking a Vigilance Manager for a mid-level position at Reliance Retail. This full-time role will be based in Delhi, Cochin, or Guwahati. The Vigilance Manager will be responsible for overseeing risk assessment, fraud detection, and implementing investigation techniques to maintain the integrity and security of operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed investigations to detect and prevent fraud, misconduct, and other violations within the organization.
- Perform system studies to identify and prevent SOP violations and investigate allegations of misconduct.
- Collect and analyze relevant information related to potential fraudulent activities to strengthen vigilance and detection efforts.
- Utilize data analysis to identify suspicious patterns indicative of fraud and establish an effective informant network for additional insights.
- Implement proactive measures to prevent fraud, conduct comprehensive investigations to recover losses, and aim to resolve issues without resorting to legal action whenever possible.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.
- Maintain accurate and systematic records of all investigations and audits, ensuring that findings are thoroughly documented.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on ethical practices, compliance, and vigilance protocols.
- Work with external agencies, as necessary, to facilitate thorough investigations and audits.
- Regularly review and update vigilance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current best practices.

- Investigation Techniques (Mandatory skill) – Proficiency in conducting effective investigations and gathering comprehensive data.
- Auditing Skills (Mandatory skill) – Strong background in auditing practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory policies.
- Fraud Detection (Mandatory skill) – Expertise in identifying and preventing fraudulent activities.
- Evidence Collection – Skilled in collecting and preserving evidence during investigations.
- Risk Assessment – Adept at identifying potential risks and implementing strategies for mitigation.
- Analytical Thinking – Ability to analyze complex data and make well-informed decisions.
- Attention to Detail – Keen eye for detecting discrepancies and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Data Analysis – Competent in analyzing data to identify patterns, anomalies, and areas of concern.
