Role Purpose

The CEO's Office Strategy personnel will operate in nimble high-performance teams serving as single points of contact for all senior leaders with Apex and will be responsible for continuous monitoring & optimisation of Reliance Retail’s business strategy to ensure achievement of strategic and operational KPIs. The Office will also be responsible for timely execution of business-wide strategic initiatives and will be involved in review and synthesis of all reports, data and communications received from the businesses.

Accountabilities

·        Review strategy, annual plans and associated documents of the business / function and recommend improvements

·        Continuously monitor implementation of strategy and propose changes in accordance to current business realities and changing business landscape

·        Collaborate with the financial leads to support and fine-tune the financial plans so as to align them to the overall organizational growth targets and budgets

·        Orchestrate and program manage the projects and report necessary bottlenecks with the business owner, and concerned business leaders and project teams for resolution

·        Conduct ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ study to document the global trends, industry best practices and benchmark competition to catapult Reliance’s growth and relevancy and adapt the leading practices within the retail ecosystem

·        Monitor business & function performance (plan vs actual)

·        Recommend enhancements to existing strategies, annual plans, and associated documents across business functions

·        Exception monitoring, reporting and resolution for priority areas across businesses

·        Drive the performance management for strategic and special projects by gathering insights from various teams; Business Operation Centres, Finance & Data Analytics teams etc.

·        Review and synthesise all reports, data and communications received from the businesses

·        Prepare summary notes and supporting materials for periodic business reviews by Apex

Role Requirements

Education

·        B. Tech. from top IITs and MBA from top global B-schools typically from Ivy league university or top IIMs OR

·        M.S. in Computer Science from International premier colleges or

·        US CFA + MBA from top B-schools or

·        CA in 1st attempt + LLB or CS
