Qualifications and Skills

  • Sales (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated expertise in driving sales initiatives, setting and achieving revenue targets to maximize store profitability and overall business success.
  • Retail: Proven experience in managing retail operations with a thorough understanding of market trends, merchandising, product assortment, and inventory management.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ability to coordinate with suppliers, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely stock replenishment for optimal store functioning.
  • Loss Prevention: Strong understanding and practice of loss prevention strategies including implementing security measures and minimizing shrinkage to protect assets.
  • Vendor Management: Skilled in effectively managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality supply while keeping costs controlled.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service orientation, adept at resolving customer issues efficiently and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in managing, motivating, and training teams to achieve targets and maintain a collaborative work environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales reports, understand key performance metrics, and make strategic decisions to drive store performance.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead daily store operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve sales objectives in line with organizational goals.
  • Implement effective sales strategies and motivate staff to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis.
  • Ensure efficient inventory management, stock control, and supply chain coordination for uninterrupted store operations.
  • Monitor and enforce loss prevention and security measures to minimize inventory loss and ensure a safe retail environment.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to maintain product quality, timely deliveries, and favorable commercial agreements.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of store staff, fostering a productive and customer-focused team culture.
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally, ensuring high standards of service are upheld.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on store performance metrics to senior management, identifying growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
