Qualifications and Skills
- Retail Operations experience (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of store operations, including inventory, compliance, and process excellence within a retail environment.
- Sales Management (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to set sales targets, monitor achievement, and design strategies to maximize store revenue and profitability.
- Inventory Management (Mandatory skill): Advanced proficiency in maintaining accurate stock levels, managing replenishments, and reducing shrinkage for optimal inventory health.
- Team Leadership: Strong ability to recruit, develop, mentor, and motivate diverse store teams to achieve business objectives and maintain high levels of staff engagement.
- Customer Relationship Management: Skilled at building and maintaining lasting customer relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty programs are effectively executed.
- Visual Merchandising: Proficient in implementing creative and attractive merchandising standards to enhance the store environment and boost customer appeal.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Capable of using sales data, performance metrics, and retail analytics for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making: Excellent judgement to handle operational challenges, resolve conflicts, and take timely business decisions to drive store success.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire store operations, ensuring high standards across sales, service, merchandising, and store upkeep for optimal customer experience.
- Drive the achievement of sales targets, manage store budgets, monitor KPIs, and proactively implement plans for revenue growth and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate all aspects of inventory management including receipts, storage, stock rotation, audits, and loss prevention measures.
- Lead, coach, and develop the store team by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and fostering an atmosphere of continuous learning and motivation.
- Ensure effective implementation of customer service protocols and handle escalations, feedback, and loyalty program initiatives to build enduring customer relationships.
- Maintain compliance with all corporate policies, statutory regulations, and adherence to operational and visual standards of Reliance Retail.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to actively implement internal and promotional displays, keeping the store attractive and in tune with current trends.
- Analyse store performance reports, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities and make data-driven business decisions.
