Qualifications and Skills

  • Pharmacy Operations (Mandatory skill): demonstrated ability to oversee daily pharmacy functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage pharmacy staff efficiently.
  • Customer Service: proven track record of delivering personalized service and maintaining patient satisfaction in a retail pharmacy environment.
  • Inventory Management: adept at monitoring, managing, and replenishing pharmaceutical inventory to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  • Retail Management: experience in handling store operations, including cash flow management, merchandising, and staff supervision.
  • Prescription Processing: skilled in accurately reviewing, verifying, and fulfilling prescriptions while maintaining all statutory guidelines.
  • Healthcare Collaboration: ability to coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance representatives to optimize patient care and manage documentation requirements.
  • Health Informatics: familiarity with electronic medical records, digital health tools, and pharmacy software for efficient workflow management.
  • Point-of-Sale Systems: expertise in using retail POS systems for billing, transaction management, and reporting, ensuring seamless operations.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring optimal staff deployment and adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate pharmacy staff to deliver superior customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular audits, placing orders, and overseeing proper storage protocols.
  • Process prescriptions with attention to detail, verifying dosages, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals and insurance agencies to facilitate smooth processing of prescriptions and address patient needs.
  • Ensure customer queries are addressed promptly and efficiently, offering expert advice on pharmaceuticals and health products.
  • Monitor sales, track key performance indicators, and prepare operational reports to inform business decisions and achieve targets.
  • Implement health and safety practices, uphold pharmaceutical ethics, and oversee the safe disposal of expired or unused medications.
