Purpose of the Role

To drive store sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, team performance, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Performance

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Drive conversion, average bill value, and customer acquisition.
  • Monitor daily sales performance and implement action plans.
  • Identify local business opportunities to increase store revenue.

2. Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and develop store associates.
  • Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews.
  • Create a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
  • Manage employee attendance, scheduling, and productivity.

3. Customer Experience

  • Ensure exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels.

4. Store Operations

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and store appearance.
  • Monitor stock availability and replenishment.
  • Ensure proper opening and closing procedures.

5. Inventory & Shrinkage Control

  • Maintain stock accuracy and inventory health.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counts.
  • Minimize shrinkage, damages, and losses.

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs.
  • Maintain hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards.
  • Ensure statutory and audit compliance requirements are met.

7. Financial Management

  • Manage store expenses within approved budgets.
  • Ensure cash handling accuracy and banking compliance.
  • Monitor store profitability and cost controls.
