Job Overview

This is a Senior-level, full-time Store Manager position for the Grocery Hyper format with Reliance Retail, based in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role requires strong expertise in retail operations, grocery management, and profit & loss accountability, ensuring high standards of store performance and customer satisfaction within a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience in leading large specialty or hyper grocery retail stores overseeing daily, weekly, and monthly operations effectively.
• Expertise in retail operations, specifically in grocery environments, with a proven ability to streamline in-store processes (Mandatory skill).
• Comprehensive knowledge of grocery merchandising, inventory management, and supply chain within high-volume stores.
• Strong understanding and direct experience handling store Profit & Loss, including revenue growth and cost controls (Mandatory skill).
• Practical know-how in shrinkage control measures, loss prevention strategies, and effective stock audit management.
• Hands-on exposure to the integration of e-commerce platforms within physical retail, boosting customer engagement and online order fulfillment.
• Proven background in driving retail sales targets, upselling initiatives, and managing store promotions to maximize sales growth.
• Mandatory skill in grocery-assortment planning, with in-depth insight into customer needs, shelf life, and replenishment cycles (Mandatory skill).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to deliver best-in-class customer experience and high-performance culture aligning with Reliance Retail standards.
• Oversee complete retail operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day functioning in alignment with the company's processes and compliance protocols.
• Manage merchandising, stock ordering, inventory controls, and space planning tailored to grocery hypermarket demands.
• Drive overall store profitability through effective P&L management, budgeting, and identifying growth opportunities for sustained business success.
• Implement and monitor shrinkage control strategies, conduct regular audits, and enforce loss prevention mechanisms within the store.
• Integrate and enhance e-commerce capabilities, ensuring fulfillment efficiency and optimal customer omnichannel experience.
• Achieve sales targets through systematic execution of promotional strategies, product launches, and customer engagement programs.
• Establish high standards for store hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance to protect team members and customers at all times.
