Role Overview
The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, store profitability, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team engagement for a Fashion & Lifestyle store under Reliance Retail. The role demands strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and hands-on experience in managing high-volume retail stores.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve monthly and annual store sales targets (INR Cr)
- Drive conversion rate, ATV (Average Transaction Value) & UPT (Units per Transaction)
- Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective actions
Profitability & Cost Control
- Deliver targeted Store EBITDA (%)
- Control store operating expenses (manpower, utilities, maintenance)
- Minimize shrinkage and stock loss
- Manage markdowns and discount strategies effectively
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
- Maintain high Customer Satisfaction (CSAT/NPS) scores
- Ensure superior in-store service standards
- Handle customer complaints and escalations professionally
- Drive loyalty memberships and repeat business
Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain healthy Inventory Turns
- Ensure optimum stock availability and replenishment
- Monitor slow-moving and aging inventory
Team Leadership & People Management
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop store staff
- Drive team productivity and sales performance
- Maintain high staff engagement and happiness levels
- Reduce attrition and ensure manpower stability
- Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and brand standards
- Maintain billing accuracy and cash management controls
- Ensure statutory and legal compliance
