Job Overview
As a Store Manager at Reliance Retail, you will oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient processes, superior customer service, and adherence to company standards. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The role is based across locations in Kottayam, Alappuzha, and Pathanamthitta, and offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment specializing in fashion & lifestyle.
Qualifications and Skills
- Store Management (Mandatory skill): Hands-on experience managing all aspects of retail store operations, driving sales targets, and ensuring profitability.
- Visual Merchandising (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to implement effective visual merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and boost customer engagement.
- Retail Operations (Mandatory skill): Strong understanding of retail operational standards, compliance, and procedures to maintain smooth store functioning.
- Customer Service: Adept at fostering a customer-centric environment, promptly addressing queries, and effectively resolving customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, and managing store teams, promoting motivation, accountability, and high performance.
- Inventory Management: Proficient in managing inventory cycles, minimizing shrinkage, optimizing stock levels, and coordinating with the supply chain for timely replenishments.
- Store Operations: Ability to supervise daily store activities including cash management, billing, and store upkeep, ensuring compliance with store policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong relationships with customers, team members, and senior management, ensuring seamless operations.
- Prior experience in fashion & lifestyle retail will be considered an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring achievement of sales targets and profitability while maintaining an outstanding shopping experience.
- Lead, coach, and motivate store staff to achieve performance goals, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Coordinate and execute visual merchandising initiatives to optimize product displays and support promotional activities, with special focus on fashion & lifestyle categories.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards, handle feedback and resolve escalated issues promptly.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and liaise with vendors and supply chain teams for efficient replenishment.
- Implement company policies and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, health and safety norms, and security measures.
- Monitor key performance indicators and prepare periodic sales and performance reports for review with higher management.
- Identify opportunities to improve store processes, drive customer acquisition, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
