Job Purpose
The Account Director / Senior Manager – E-commerce & Performance Marketing will own and lead end-to-end client relationships for e-commerce brands, driving sustainable revenue growth through full-funnel digital strategies. The role focuses on translating business objectives into measurable performance outcomes, leading high-impact client engagements, and scaling growth through data-driven media planning, innovation, and strong team leadership.
Key Accountabilities
- Own and lead end-to-end client relationships, ensuring delivery against business and performance KPIs.
- Drive full-funnel digital strategy across performance marketing, programmatic, display, app growth, CRM, and retention.
- Translate client business goals into clear digital KPIs, growth roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead quarterly and annual business reviews (QBRs/ABRs) with senior and CXO-level stakeholders.
- Oversee key e-commerce metrics including ROAS, CAC, AOV, LTV, cohort performance, and attribution.
- Define media mix models, budget phasing, incrementality frameworks, and experimentation roadmaps.
- Ensure best-in-class execution across platforms, stepping into hands-on execution when required.
- Guide teams on advanced measurement and tech setups including GA4, AppsFlyer, Firebase, Meta CAPI, and server-side tracking.
- Identify and drive account growth through retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing account and execution teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Build strong collaboration across media, analytics, tech, and platform partner teams.
- Represent the agency in client workshops, platform meetings, and industry forums.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of client business and performance KPIs (ROAS, CAC, revenue growth, LTV).
- Account retention, client satisfaction, and revenue growth through upsell and cross-sell.
- Effectiveness of full-funnel media strategies and incrementality impact.
- Quality, accuracy, and actionability of reporting, insights, and recommendations.
- Team performance, delivery excellence, and capability development.
Functional Competencies
- Deep expertise in performance marketing platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, Marketplace Ads, Programmatic).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics, attribution models, and analytics frameworks.
- Experience with GA4, AppsFlyer, Firebase, Meta CAPI, server-side tracking, and first-party data.
- Media planning, budget management, forecasting, and experimentation leadership.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate data into scalable growth frameworks.
