Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Performance

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Drive store productivity and profitability.
  • Monitor key business metrics and take corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Ensure execution of promotional activities and merchandising plans.

Store Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain store hygiene, safety, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensure proper stock management and inventory control.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop store employees.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
  • Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and attendance.
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Drive customer engagement and loyalty initiatives.

Inventory & Loss Prevention

  • Monitor stock availability and replenishment.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records and stock audits.
  • Minimize shrinkage, pilferage, and operational losses.

Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain required store documentation and reports.
  • Coordinate with support functions such as HR, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Qualification

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.

Experience

  • 5–10 years of retail experience with at least 2–3 years in a Store Manager role managing a large-format retail store.
