What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and own scalable Java/Spring Boot services running in cloud-based, distributed environments.

• Build and evolve microservices, APIs, and data models with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and fault tolerance.

• Translate complex business requirements into clean, maintainable backend solutions.

• Work closely with product, frontend, platform, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end features.

• Own service quality metrics across latency, throughput, availability, and resilience.

• Debug and resolve complex production issues across services using strong root-cause analysis.

• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, testing, observability, and best practices.

What You Bring:

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience building and scaling backend services for large consumer or enterprise systems.

• Strong ability to translate business requirements into clean, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions.

• Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices-based architectures.

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, including scalability, fault tolerance, and performance tuning.

• Experience working with cloud platforms and modern deployment environments.

• Strong collaboration skills with frontend, product, platform, and data teams.

• High ownership mindset with the ability to deliver in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

• Clear communication skills and a strong sense of engineering accountability.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with NoSQL datastores, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or event-driven architectures.

• Exposure to observability, monitoring, and production debugging in distributed systems.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience working in high-growth product teams or at scale in complex systems.
