Job Overview
The Retail Store Manager at Reliance Retail will oversee overall store operations, ensuring efficient performance, exceptional customer service, and achievement of business objectives. This full-time mid-level role is based in Kottayam, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, or Alappuzha, requiring a minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in retail operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in retail store operation with demonstrated experience in managing daily store activities, customer interactions, and sales (Mandatory skill).
- Hands-on experience in store management including team supervision, performance tracking, and compliance with organizational standards.
- In-depth understanding of customer service strategies to ensure unmatched shopping experiences and customer loyalty.
- Ability to execute effective visual merchandising techniques to optimize product displays and enhance store appeal.
- Advanced skills in inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, loss prevention, and record keeping.
- Experience in P&L management, demonstrating the ability to monitor revenues, control costs, and drive profitability.
- Competence in merchandise planning, including forecasting, stock allocation, and alignment with promotional strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to resolve operational challenges and lead cross-functional teams efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Direct daily store operations, ensuring seamless execution of processes aligned with company standards and objectives.
- Lead and motivate store teams to achieve sales targets, deliver superior customer service, and maintain high operational efficiency.
- Monitor store performance metrics, analyze sales data, and implement improvement strategies to achieve business goals.
- Oversee stock management including accurate inventory counts, loss prevention measures, and timely replenishment of products.
- Implement and maintain effective visual merchandising standards to maximize product visibility and inspire customer purchases.
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, P&L accountability, and cost control to maintain overall store profitability.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, adherence to company policies, and upholding safety and hygiene standards within the store.
- Develop and nurture customer relationships, address escalations, and drive initiatives to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
