Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to join our team on a Full-Time basis at Reliance Retail. The position is a Mid-Level role based in Alappuzha, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Palakkad, and Ernakulam districts. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in retail management. The role requires a deep understanding of customer service, visual merchandising, and retail operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in retail management with a minimum of 4 years in a customer-focused retail environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to address and resolve issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Strong expertise in visual merchandising, with a knack for creating visually appealing store layouts that enhance the shopping experience.
• Good understanding of retail sales concepts and techniques with experience in executing successful sales strategies.
• Experience with store operations and management, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning of the store.
• Proficiency in inventory management with the ability to manage stock levels, optimize inventory turnover and minimize losses.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and developing store staff to meet performance goals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the retail store to ensure efficient and effective functioning.
• Develop and implement store policies and procedures to enhance store performance and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising by ensuring the store layout is attractive and customer-friendly.
• Manage inventory levels, including stock ordering, receiving, tracking, and loss prevention measures.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail staff to achieve sales and customer service objectives.
• Analyze sales figures and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Implement marketing and promotional strategies to enhance store visibility and increase sales.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
