Job Purpose

Spearhead fit-out projects across the South Zone through strategic planning, effective vendor coordination, strong safety governance, stakeholder alignment, and cost optimization across multiple retail formats of Reliance Retail.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Governance

• Drive strategic planning and policy deployment for all retail fit-out projects across the zone.
• Establish governance frameworks, SOPs, and control mechanisms for end-to-end project execution.
• Align project delivery with business expansion plans, timelines, and cost benchmarks.

2. Fit-out Execution & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end execution of fit-out projects, ensuring adherence to cost, timeline, and quality standards.
• Ensure site readiness in coordination with Real Estate and cross-functional teams for timely project kick-off.
• Drive timely approvals, snag closure, and seamless handover to operations.

3. Project Monitoring & Controls

• Track project progress through periodic reviews and site audits.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, design standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation plans, and ensure minimal project delays.

4. Vendor & Contractor Management

• Oversee contractor/vendor selection, onboarding, and capability assessment.
• Drive performance management, commercial negotiations, and compliance.
• Build a reliable and scalable vendor ecosystem across the zone.

5. Cost & Financial Management

• Manage project budgets, cash flows, and billing cycles.
• Drive cost optimization through efficient resource utilization and value engineering.
• Ensure financial discipline and adherence to approved cost benchmarks.

6. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

• Ensure strict compliance with SHE standards across all project sites.
• Promote a zero-incident safety culture and conduct periodic safety audits.

7. Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead, mentor, and develop zonal project teams to drive performance excellence.
• Support team members across project cycles, ensuring productivity as per EPC X & Z matrix norms.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and consistent performance delivery.
