Key Responsibilities:
- Lead raw material inventory management, ensuring alignment with production timelines and cost targets.
- Optimize sourcing and procurement processes to reduce material wastage and improve cost efficiency.
- Build, train, and manage a high-performing procurement team, offering technical and process guidance.
- Identify and engage with reliable vendors, ensuring quality, consistency, and cost competitiveness.
- Analyze procurement data and trends to forecast material requirements and reduce overstocking/stockouts.
- Implement inventory control measures and systems to enhance traceability and minimize loss.
- Collaborate closely with design, merchandising, and production teams to align material planning with product roadmap.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives in procurement (e.g., ERP, inventory automation tools).
- Evaluate and mitigate supply chain risks proactively.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Understanding of supply chain optimization and cost modeling
- Working knowledge of SAP, D365 and inventory management software
- Analytical and data interpretation skills
- Stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Time and priority management
