Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Summary


The Pharmacist will be in charge of supporting growth, optimizing profitability, and maintaining operational excellence within the pharmacy, OTC, and wellness product divisions on our e-commerce platform. The position includes designing strategies for these categories, improving product selections, overseeing vendor partnerships, and ensuring customers have a quality experience. The right candidate will possess excellent analytical abilities, comprehensive market knowledge, and prior experience in either e-commerce or retail, ideally in the pharmacy sector.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement category strategies that are consistent with company goals.
  • Oversee portfolios of pharmaceutical, OTC, health, and wellness products.
  • Identify and introduce new products, brands, and options for assortment growth.
  • Lead efforts in vendor onboarding, conduct negotiations, and manage vendor relations to secure competitive pricing, strong margins, and high service standards.
  • Review and interpret sales data, customer insights, and market competitor trends to enhance category results.
  • Adjust pricing, promotional efforts, and discounts to achieve revenue and margin objectives.
  • Estimate inventory requirements, project demand, and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, and product teams to launch campaigns and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Track category metrics such as sales, conversion rates, inventory status, and profitability to facilitate timely improvements.
  • Maintain adherence to pharmacy industry regulations and quality controls.


Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, Healthcare, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 3–6 years of experience in category management, merchandising, or product management.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce or retail, with a preference for those experienced in pharmacy or healthcare.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, MIS, and analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders and perform well in a dynamic environment.
