Job Overview
The Lead Brand Development (Hair) role at Tira Beauty - Reliance Retail is a senior-level, full-time role based in BKC, Mumbai. The role involves leading the development and growth of the hair care product portfolio, focusing on new product development, category expansion, and end-to-end brand lifecycle management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in new product development with a proven track record of launching successful products in the hair care segment.
- Demonstrated experience in category management, particularly within the haircare portfolio.
- Deep understanding of P&L management, driving profitability and sustaining business growth through data-backed strategies.
- Experience in portfolio management encompassing brand positioning, assortment planning, and lifecycle management of hair care products.
- Proven capability in vendor management, including selection, negotiation, and long-term partnership development for sourcing and innovations.
- Comprehensive knowledge and passion for the hair care category, current trends, consumer insights, and market landscape.
Educational Qualification: Graduation; MBA preferred
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, execution, and continual enhancement of the hair care product portfolio, from concept to market launch.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of new haircare SKUs from ideation to in-market delivery.
- Manage category performance through analytics, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring best-in-class assortment.
- Build and nurture strong partnerships with vendors and manufacturers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and sustainable sourcing.
- Own category P&L, setting pricing strategies and optimizing margins while delivering on customer value propositions.
- Conduct competitive analysis and monitor market dynamics to maintain brand leadership and relevance in hair care segment.
