We are seeking a Junior Trader specializing in Spices, specifically Green Cardamom, for our Cochin location. As a full-time member of our dynamic trading team, you will focus on commodity trading, negotiation, and actively managing trading positions. Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in Black Cardamom (Mandatory skill), demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the product and its trading aspects within the commodities market.
• Proven experience in Black Cardamom Trading, including thorough understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and trading practices essential for successful sales and procurement.
• Ability to monitor trading positions accurately to optimize profitability, minimize losses, and manage exposure within the trading portfolio effectively.
• Demonstrated skills in Commodity Trading, enabling the candidate to seamlessly handle multiple spice commodities, ensuring compliance, and identifying trading opportunities.
• Strong negotiation abilities are required for securing optimal terms with suppliers, buyers, transporters, and other stakeholders across the supply chain.
• Familiarity with trading software and analytical tools to support data-driven trading decisions and reporting for business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling smooth coordination with internal teams and external partners to facilitate prompt transaction settlements and issue resolutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and uphold high standards of integrity and professionalism at all times.
• Green Cardamom and Spices (Mandatory skill) proficiency, critical for day-to-day operations and long-term trading strategy execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trading activities for Black Cardamom and other spices to maximize profitability and maintain product quality standards.
• Analyze market trends, monitor trading positions, and develop insights to inform buying and selling decisions for spices commodities.
• Conduct and participate in negotiations with suppliers, buyers, and transporters to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely product delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships to guarantee consistent procurement and supply of quality Black Cardamom.
• Collaborate with internal teams including logistics, quality control, and finance to ensure seamless transaction processing and product flow.
• Prepare regular trading reports, perform risk analysis, and optimize strategies based on market movements and organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and best industry practices throughout all trading processes.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to process improvements, and actively share insights for continuous business growth in the spices segment.
