Job Overview
The Jewellery Sales Executive at Reliance Retail is a full-time, mid-level position responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within our jewellery retail segment. This role is based in one of our stores located in Kolkata, Siliguri, Asansol, Dibrugarh, Agartala, or Guwahati. Candidates with up to 6 years of experience are preferred for this opportunity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Jewellery selling experience with proven abilities in achieving sales targets and engaging customers during the buying journey (Mandatory skill).
- Sales closing expertise with a strong track record of converting leads into successful transactions (Mandatory skill).
- Customer relationship management, adept at building rapport, nurturing long-term customer trust, and delivering repeat business.
- Retail sale experience, including handling POS systems, promotions, and upselling or cross-selling products in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated product knowledge with an ability to explain jewellery features, quality, and value proposition to empower customers' decision-making.
- Previous jewellery store experience with familiarity in handling valuable inventory, stock audits, and store operations compliantly.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in billing, documentation, display management, and adherence to processes enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with customers, team members, and management to ensure seamless workflow.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Engage customers with in-depth consultations to understand their jewellery needs and provide tailored recommendations from the available collection.
- Demonstrate product features, quality specifications, and craftsmanship to effectively address customer inquiries and build product confidence.
- Close sales transactions by guiding customers through payment, documentation, and after-sales services efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring displays are attractive, well-organized, and in accordance with brand guidelines at all times.
- Handle customer complaints or feedback professionally to resolve issues and foster long-term loyalty for the Reliance Retail brand.
- Monitor and replenish inventory, participating in stock counting, auditing processes, and accurately recording movement within the store.
- Collaborate with colleagues and store management on promotional events, new launches, and store initiatives to boost overall sales performance.
- Uphold security protocols, ensuring the safety of valuable merchandise and adherence to company policy regarding handling of high-value goods.
