The Fun Consultant position at Reliance Retail offers a unique opportunity for freshers to join India’s top retail company as a full-time employee in Bangalore Urban. This role focuses on creating memorable in-store experiences, driving sales, engaging with customers, and supporting operational excellence in a dynamic retail environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong sales experience or aptitude to drive product engagement and assist customers in making informed purchase decisions (Mandatory skill).
- Demonstrated proficiency or adaptability in sales management, with a focus on meeting and exceeding set targets and metrics.
- Familiarity with retail sales processes including product recommendations, billing, and store operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Excellent customer service skills to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction on the shop floor.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities for effective engagement with customers, team members, and supervisors regularly.
- Ability to identify opportunities to upsell premium products and cross-sell complementary items to maximize basket value per customer.
- Detail-oriented approach to handling inventory, reporting discrepancies, and ensuring the store's visual and operational standards are maintained.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to fast-paced and changing retail environments, contributing to team and store success.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with enthusiasm, creating a vibrant and enjoyable in-store atmosphere that aligns with Reliance Retail’s standards.
- Proactively promote and sell products, providing personalized recommendations to enhance each customer’s shopping experience.
- Assist customers at various touchpoints, answer questions, offer product information, and resolve queries in a timely, professional manner.
- Support upselling and cross-selling efforts, ensuring customers are aware of promotions, bundled offers, and value-added products or services.
- Maintain store hygiene, stock displays, and ensure merchandise presentation adheres to company guidelines at all times.
- Participate in inventory checks, restocking activities, and accurately report stock levels or discrepancies to store management when required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and monthly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and financial success of the store.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and stay updated on latest arrivals, company policies, and promotional activities to better assist customers.
