Job Description – Engineer Intern
Job Title: Engineer Intern
Department: IT / Technology
Location: Bangalore
Reports To: Team Lead / Project Manager
Role Overview:
The Engineer Intern will join our technical team to support ongoing software development, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for interns to gain practical, hands-on experience on real-time projects, develop industry-relevant skills, and contribute meaningfully to the team’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to assist in coding, debugging, and testing software applications.
- Support module development under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues as required.
- Participate in testing activities, including writing test cases and executing tests.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of clear, concise technical documentation.
- Work closely with developers, testers, and project stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Take initiative to learn and implement new tools, technologies, and best practices in the field.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and contribute.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Exposure to web development, mobile applications, or database technologies.
- Basic understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Keen interest in exploring new technologies and innovation.
