The Department Manager at Reliance Retail is a mid-level, full-time role based in Ranchi, requiring 4 to 6 years of prior experience. Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise departmental operations to achieve sales, profitability, and customer service objectives as set by Reliance Retail's standards.
• Manage inventory levels, product assortment, and ensure efficient stock replenishment to maintain availability and minimize shrinkage.
• Develop and mentor team members, driving a culture of accountability, customer centricity, and continuous learning.
• Monitor and analyze departmental KPIs, taking proactive actions to address performance gaps and optimize results.
• Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with vendors and supply chain partners for timely product deliveries, quality checks, and issue resolution.
• Drive and execute promotional campaigns and in-store activities to enhance customer engagement and boost revenue.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, regularly reviewing financial targets and recommending cost optimization strategies.
