Job Overview
The Online Store Manager at Reliance Retail will play an essential role in managing all aspects of our digital commerce operations. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Chennai, requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The Online Store Manager will ensure seamless store operations, efficient inventory management, excellent customer service, and a performance-driven team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Retail Operations experience with proven ability to oversee daily online store activities (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in shrink management, involving the monitoring, investigation, and mitigation of product losses to optimize profitability.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, including stock tracking, allocation, and turnaround cycle minimization.
- Strong background in customer support, adept at resolving escalations and ensuring customer satisfaction through digital channels.
- Experience in implementing loss prevention strategies to reduce risk and protect merchandise and revenue streams.
- Staff scheduling competency, efficiently aligning workforce planning to peak periods, holidays, and promotional campaigns.
- Ability to manage stock replenishment activities, ensuring product availability and timely restocking through analytical forecasting.
- Hands-on experience operating and optimizing e-commerce platforms, focusing on improving sales, user experience, and operational performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise end-to-end operations of the online store to maximize sales, ensure accuracy of data, and manage daily transactions effectively.
- Collaborate with the supply chain, merchandising, and IT teams to address inventory issues and proactively resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor shrinkage trends and drive initiatives to control product losses by implementing robust preventive and corrective measures.
- Lead customer support escalation resolution and maintain high standards of service across all digital touchpoints.
- Develop and manage efficient staff schedules, resource allocation, and training for upskilling teams on e-commerce best practices.
- Track and analyze store performance data to generate actionable insights for sales growth, process improvement, and enhanced operations.
- Oversee stock replenishment cycles, ensuring optimal product mix and availability in response to real-time demands and sales trends.
- Implement and uphold loss prevention protocols, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in operational security and profitability.
