We are seeking a Junior CC Buyer for Fruits and Vegetables based in Kharupatia, Assam. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience. The role requires engaging in procurement activities within the agricultural domain with specific emphasis on fruits and vegetables, ensuring the best quality products are sourced for retail distribution.

Qualifications and Skills

• Agriculture (Mandatory skill): In-depth knowledge and understanding of agricultural practices, especially related to fruits, to ensure quality sourcing and procurement.
• Fruits (Mandatory skill): Expertise in identifying, evaluating, and procuring various types of fruits to ensure the highest quality offerings.
• Vegetables: Proficiency in assessing and sourcing vegetables, with an eye for quality, freshness, and market demand.
• Horticulture: Basic knowledge of horticultural practices to better manage the categories of fruits and vegetables.
• Vendor Management: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors for efficient product sourcing and negotiation of competitive prices.
• Analytical Skills: Capacity to analyze market trends, pricing, and demand to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to resolve issues and challenges in procurement processes swiftly and effectively.
