Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Assistant Store Manager for Ed A Mamma at Reliance Retail. This full-time, mid-level position is based in Chennai, New Delhi, or Raipur and is suited for candidates with at least 4 years of relevant work experience. The role focuses on store management, sales, and retail operations to ensure exceptional customer service and store performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in store management gained through at least four years of hands-on experience in a retail environment (Mandatory skill).
- Demonstrated ability to execute retail operations with consistent attention to process, detail, and overall efficiency.
- Strong command over inventory management practices, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishments.
- In-depth understanding of showroom sales including customer interaction, merchandising, and up-selling strategies.
- Exposure to luxury sales, with the ability to maintain high standards and understand the nuances of premium offerings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for handling team dynamics and delivering superior customer experiences.
- Proficient in analyzing key performance metrics and implementing data-driven improvements in store operations.
- Ability to foster a customer-centric culture among team members, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty in a competitive market.
- Required skillset: retail operations, inventory management, store operations, luxury sales, showroom sales applied in fast-paced environments.
- Track record of adapting to new technologies and digital retail tools that optimize store performance and shopper engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations, ensuring all store functions are executed seamlessly and efficiently.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff, providing training and guidance to achieve both sales and service objectives.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinate with warehouse and suppliers for timely product replenishment.
- Drive superior customer service by resolving queries, handling complaints, and maintaining premium in-store experiences.
- Oversee retail floor activities, ensure product presentation aligns with brand standards, and monitor showroom sales performance.
- Implement and uphold operational standards including compliance with policies, visual merchandising, and safety protocols.
- Deliver on sales targets by executing promotional activities, tracking conversions, and analyzing sales data to identify improvement areas.
- Maintain accurate records related to sales, inventory, and transactions in accordance with company systems and audit requirements.
- Assist in planning and executing store events or launches in collaboration with the marketing and brand teams for Ed A Mamma.
