Job Overview
The Assistant Store Manager at Reliance Retail in North Goa will support store operations, team management, and sales initiatives within a dynamic, omni-channel environment. This is a full-time, mid-level role suited to professionals with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in retail management. Qualifications and Skills
- Retail Operations experience, applying industry-leading practices to ensure efficient store functioning (Mandatory skill).
- 4 to 6 years of work experience in a similar role, with proven success in managing daily retail operations and teams.
- Proficiency in inventory management, including stock audits, replenishment, loss prevention, and demand planning for optimized product availability.
- Demonstrable expertise in providing superior customer service, addressing complaints, ensuring satisfaction, and building loyalty.
- Hands-on experience with sales forecasting, target setting, analyzing trends, and implementing strategies to boost performance.
- Knowledge of store compliance, ensuring adherence to company standards, procedures, policies, and legal requirements.
- Skill in visual merchandising, maintaining appealing product displays that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ability to use retail management systems and MS Office applications to drive operational efficiencies and reporting accuracy.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overall store operations, staff supervision, and achievement of sales targets.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment and loss minimization.
- Ensure the highest standard of customer service, resolving queries and complaints efficiently to sustain customer satisfaction.
- Implement store compliance measures and maintain adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Manage visual merchandising, ensuring product displays are impactful, fresh, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, track key performance indicators, and recommend action plans for improvement.
- Train, guide, and motivate the store staff to maintain productivity, teamwork, and performance excellence.
- Oversee daily cash management, billing accuracy, and banking transactions as per prescribed protocols.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement promotional campaigns, new launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Foster a positive work culture that aligns with Reliance Retail’s values, vision, and customer-centric approach.
