Job Overview
The Procurement Manager – Premium Interior will oversee sourcing and procurement activities for high-end interior projects within our Real Estate EPC division. This full-time, mid-level position is based in Mumbai and requires 10-20 years of experience in relevant procurement roles. The incumbent will ensure premium quality, cost efficiencies, and timely delivery aligned with project standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of at least 10 years in procurement, with a focus on premium interior solutions for luxury real estate developments or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- In-depth expertise as a buyer managing the purchasing process for interior finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and bespoke materials.
- Comprehensive understanding of sourcing strategies to identify and onboard suppliers who contribute to premium interior quality and timely project execution. (Mandatory skill)
- Strong track record in vendor development, including supplier evaluation, relationship management, and negotiation of advantageous agreements.
- Demonstrated skills in formulating and executing pricing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality and specifications.
- Advanced negotiation capabilities to secure favorable terms, handle tendering processes, and resolve contractual disputes with vendors and contractors.
- Experience with strategic sourcing frameworks to drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement practices for interior projects.
- Proficiency in procurement operations specific to premium interior design, ensuring alignment with project requirements and adherence to organizational standards.
- Experience in sourcing premium fit-out and FF&E, with a strong understanding of both international and domestic vendors.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for premium interior packages, ensuring materials and services meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop a network of suppliers and vendors specializing in high-end interior products and solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to support the unique demands of luxury residential and commercial real estate projects.
- Drive vendor negotiations, tendering, and contract management to achieve optimal terms and maintain effective business relationships.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and project management teams to understand project needs and deliver tailored procurement solutions.
- Monitor market trends and new product launches, evaluating their applicability and potential for ongoing and future projects.
- Manage procurement documentation, ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and maintain audit-ready records.
- Support sustainability objectives by sourcing eco-friendly, innovative materials and championing best practices in ethical procurement.
- Sourcing of premium fit-out and FF&E, leveraging knowledge of both international and domestic vendors for optimal procurement decisions.
