Job Overview

We are seeking a mid-level HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Mumbai on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing HVAC systems for our premium real estate developments, ensuring safety, quality, and innovation align seamlessly with project requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in HVAC Design (Mandatory skill), with demonstrated experience in designing efficient and sustainable systems for large complexes.
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency to effectively create, review, and modify detailed HVAC drawings and layouts as per project standards.
• Hands-on experience with Revit MEP for BIM modeling, enabling accurate coordination with other engineering disciplines in 3D environments.
• Proven skill in HVAC System Selection, evaluating and recommending optimal solutions based on project requirements and building codes.
• Experience in Ductwork Layout, ensuring effective distribution, sizing, and path optimization for airflow and energy efficiency.
• Solid understanding of MEP Coordination, resolving interferences, and driving integration among mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design innovative solutions addressing challenging HVAC requirements within tight schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and institutional real estate projects in line with applicable codes and sustainability goals.
• Prepare and review HVAC layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP for accurate documentation and BIM integration.
• Select suitable HVAC equipment, evaluate alternatives, and recommend systems that deliver best-in-class energy efficiency and comfort for occupants.
• Collaborate closely with architects, structural, and MEP teams to ensure coordinated and integrated solutions without conflicts or delays.
• Review contractor submittals, monitor site execution, and ensure adherence to approved design and safety standards throughout the project life cycle.
• Participate in value engineering exercises and technical discussions to optimize project costs while upholding quality and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot design or execution issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain project momentum.
• Keep updated with new technologies and advancements in HVAC systems, incorporating innovative solutions aligned with the company’s sustainability vision.
