We are looking for candidates with knowledge and hands-on experience on administration of Smart Plant tools along with development experience on SDx / Luciad and SmartPlant Engineering tools. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment as well as administration and maintenance of such tools.

As an Application Developer - Administrator, you should have good knowledge of the SmartPlant tool suite, SDx and Luciad SA software solutions, along with hands-on MS-SQL database.

Responsibilities

·        Work with development teams and other discipline teams to update, maintain and improve applications

·        Install, configure, monitor and maintain applications to ensure optimum performance

·        Configure Plant Hierarchy as per Plant Breakdown Structure (PBS) nomenclature, Tag aliasing, numbering patterns to align datasets from different tools

·        Develop and extend APIs from SDx, Luciad

·        Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve problems faced by the business or development teams with respect to application utilization

·        Suggest improvised ways to enhance application performance and maximise benefits

·        Configuration of interfaces and integration checks with and other applications

·        Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

·        Create roles, security assignments like owning group and data protection settings

·        Create dashboards, reports on application performance as needed

Skills and Qualifications

·        Proven experience as Application admin with hands-on experience on Smart Plant tools suite preferably on Smart Plant Foundation / SDx, Luciad

·        Hands-on experience with the integration aspects of Smart Plant engineering tools (S3D, SP P&ID, SI, SEL) with Smart Plant Foundation / SDx, Luciad

·        Experience in working with Azure Cloud based applications

·        Familiarity with Oil & Gas domain, engineering practices and CFIHOS Data model will be an advantage

·        Familiarity with databases like MS-SQL 2019, Oracle 19c and Azure DevOps Pipeline

·        Excellent communication and teamwork skills

·        Good Organizational skills

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Instrument / Electrical Engineering with background of Information Technology will be an advantage

·        Experience – 2 to 8 Years
